The Superlatives are one of the UK's top party bands. We play a variety of top class music at some of the UK's finest events. We are regularly spotted in London's West End playing in top venues such as the Dorchester, Park Lane Hilton, Landsdowne Club and the Ritz. If your event requires a touch of class then 'The Superlatives' are the band for you.
We perform party hits which will keep the dance floor full. We'll include Soul, Disco, Pop, Rock and some R'n'B if required. We also specialise in playing jazz and start many of our performances with songs such as Summertime, Fly me to the moon, My Baby Just cares for me and Moondance. As the party warms up you can expect to hear dance classics such as Billie Jean and Superstition as well as all time favourites from James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye and the Beatles. We also play current hits from artists such as Beyonce, Amy Winehouse and Scissor Sisters to name but a few.
Many of our clients have specific songs they love to hear. We have an extensive repertoire which you are welcome to browse and request songs from. Generally we read the crowd and choose the appropriate songs for each event but we always welcome input from you. We are also happy to learn 1 or 2 songs of your choosing. We have both male and female vocalists so almost any song is possible! Typically at weddings we are happy to learn the first dance.

Carey to name but a few. All of our musicians are full-time professionals and by day working in studios across London. Expect a performance to blow you away!
Top PA and Lighting
When you book The Superlatives this includes a top quality PA and band lighting setup. We have an HK Audio Actor and Mackie PA rig capable of delivering 4KW of power - plenty for most venues in London. We also bring our own band lighting and some disco lights for your dancefloor. Our 12 piece show band setup also comes standard with an intelligent lighting rig and white star cloth draped behind the band. Click here for more details. The Superlatives are a party band that have performed in many parts of the country. We play many weddings in London, Kent, Sussex, Surrey and Essex aswell as Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Hampshire.
